The Jack-Ash and Sterling Mine Ditch Trails – Trails in your Backyard

October 20, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

This free event is sponsored by the Jacksonville Public Library and will be held at the library public meeting room. Two SUTA representatives will provide a talk about the history and plans for the future for the Jack-Ash and Sterling Mine Ditch Trails. We’ll have lots of slides and information about how these trails came to be, how they’re maintained, and plans for completing the next phases of the trail to connect Jacksonville and Ashland, and how anyone interested in the trails can volunteer and participate. We hope you come by and learn more about these special trails in your backyard! Information about the location for this event can be found at  Jacksonville – Jackson County Library District (jcls.org).
