SUTA’s April 28th Trail Work Party on the Jack-Ash Trail!
Our last spring work party will be on the new Jack-Ash Trail. We will be working on the two- mile section between the Griffin Gap and Grub Gulch Trailheads – great views, lovely woods, grass meadows and more.
Where: Meet at Griffin Gap Trailhead (top of the paved portion of Anderson Butte Rd.)
When: Saturday, April 28th, 2018 ; 8:30AM-1:30PM (SUTA provides lunch)
What: Trail maintenance on the Jack-Ash Trail – cutting/digging out encroaching vegetation and some tread work as needed. We cancel only if heavy rain is forecast.
What to Bring: Wear comfortable hiking or work boots, dress in layers and bring gloves. Bring water and whatever special snacks you like. If you have them, please bring loppers, a pruning saw or a tread tool such as a Pulaski, grubber, rake or sturdy shovel.
